what a gorgeous wedding! brandi and brian’s wedding was my 2nd opportunity to shoot in jackson, mississippi this year and i LOVED the venue that they chose! i’m not sure that i’ll ever tire of old warehouse buildings turned venue. the textures are endlessly inspirational.

brandi was one of the most stunning brides and had such a sweet, happy glow on her face the entire day. she was a bridesmaid in a wedding i shot earlier this year in gulf shores, alabama so it was super cool to hang with her and some of the same folks from the gulf shores wedding again.

how in the world do i continue to get the radest clients time after time? this is a question i ask myself frequently.

ellie and josh are having a fairly short engagement (reason number uno why i knew these were folks after my own heart…john and i had a 2.5 month engagement). their wedding is mid january and so we needed to squeeze some photos in pronto. they suggested Robert’s Western World for one of the locations (reason number dos why i knew these were folks after my own heart). heeeeckkkk yes, was my reply.

how in the world do i continue to have perfect weather at every shoot? this is another question i ask myself frequently. the answer is…..i don’t know, but i’m knocking on all kinds of wood to keep it that way.

presenting the fabulous wedding of tim and lacey! what a pleasure it was for me to be asked to shoot this wedding. i’ve known tim for over a decade and in the past few years we had lost touch. we reconnected shortly after he started dating lacey and even though it had been a long time i could see the change on his face — he was in love :) lacey is a gem of a lady and this wedding was such a sweet experience. special thanks to the talented emily drake for helping me shoot this one. check out the photos…

i have wanted to shoot at arrington vineyards for the longest time now and this past week i finally got my chance. cristina and tc got engaged at arrington on their anniversary a few months ago so it was the obvious place to go for photos — and i’m thrilled about the shots we got. here are some of my favorite ones, check them out….

after this shoot at arrington i’m so, so, so excited about shooting their wedding next august! cristina and tc, you guys were so fun. thanks for convincing me to join the wine club — let’s meet out there next quarter and share a glass :)

andrea and louis got hitched at aerial in downtown nashville. i’d been to the space before but never had the chance to shoot there until this past saturday and….holy moly. i’m in love with that venue! it’s so other-worldly nestled in between all the sky scrapers. the garden lights streaming back and forth above the dance floor just feels twinkly and dreamy. add to that the fact that i got a solid 45 minutes to shoot with just the bride and groom before the ceremony and you have yourself a very happy photographer :)
