kathryn and matt’s wedding: take two! this was maybe one of the most special weddings i’ve ever had the honor of photographing. one, because kathryn and i have been friends for a long time, and two because this wedding was supposed to happen in october and a very-near-tragic car wreck the night before the wedding put several of her family member’s lives in danger. you can read the incredible story in more detail on their christmas photos blog but suffice to say that, by the grace of God, everyone is alive and well. kathryn and matt got married in a small ceremony at the hospital after the wreck and decided to push back the official wedding a few months. everything was absolutely gorgeous from start to finish on the most perfect april day anyone could have prayed for. it was such an incredibly moving day to have been a part of and i’m just so grateful that everything turned out alright.
