this is a particularly special wedding for john and me as the groom is john’s cousin! i think this was my very first family wedding on john’s side so it’s the first chance a lot of that side of my family witness me at work. no pressure! it was actually a really cool way to be able to spend the day with cousins and aunts and uncles and everybody. we really had a great time! the wedding was meant to be outside under a tree at lindsey’s family’s farm but i kid you not when i say it rained the ENTIRE day. never a consecutive 3 minutes break from the drizzle. yuck! luckily, the barn was set up for the reception and decorated with tons of hay bales and fall flowers. it made for a really pretty and unique setting for a ceremony. a perfect plan b! check it out…

Kelly RichardsonIt was a nasty day for a wedding and I know how much Lindsey and Michael really wanted it outside, but it did turn out beautifully despite the weather.
