several months ago i decided i wanted to do another styled engagement shoot but this time using a real couple instead of models. when i ran the idea past mary love of rosemary and finch floral designs and sarah of sweet as honey studios (formerly with love paper goods) they were immediately on board and we set out to run a contest to find our couple. a few scheduling and location booking snafus later we were able to pull it together and had a beautiful time doing photos in a gorgeous east nashville home near shelby park. mary love worked magic with her flowers as per usual and sarah crafted a few really cute save the dates, including a clever custom tea bag tag! we got some super cute photos and had a great time making biscuits and drinking mimosas on a sunny sunday afternoon. check it out!

….because it’s always a good idea to end a blog post with a very poorly shot mirror selfie. a very special thanks to our willing couple, olivia + logan, who came down from indiana to be our models! thanks for being flexible as plans ebbed and flowed. and to mary love and sarah for bringing their brilliance and expertise. anyone in the market for beautiful flowers for your event or gorgeous custom paper products you NEED to call these gals. aside from the fact that their work is impeccable they are both as sweet as possible and are such a joy to work with.
