i had the privilege of shooting both a live show and studio session for a good friend of mine’s band. when i got started in photography, i figured living in nashville would lend me more than my share of music-related shoots. oddly enough, it’s been the subject i’ve photographed the least. needless to say, i was pretty stoked to get the invitation to shoot with Row Craven and the Machine Gun Kelly accompaniment.
if you haven’t already, check out his myspace and give his tunes a listen. he’s one of the best songwriters i’ve heard in awhile, and i gotta say how extremely refreshing that is. since working with Row, i’ve had 2 more opportunities to shoot bands/live shows, more of which you will hear about later.
