went to the FRIST!

the Frist Center has this great photography exhibit going on (ends tomorrow, sorry folks!) that boyfriend and i went to on thursday. we gave ourselves about 2 hours thinking it would be enough. no way hosea! we barely even made it half way through…
mind you, we are both the biggest museum dorks of all time. we read every little bit of text and scrutinize every piece. it’s kind of awesome. next time we’ll have to get the audio guide thing…..but i digress.
anyway, we went back today to finish the exhibit aaaannndd….maybe also a little bit because i wanted to play in the kids section. the exhibit was fantastic. i absolutely loved it. some of my favorite photos/photographers of all time were exhibited and it was just rad.
but!! maybe the best part of the day was the art we made ourselves!! here it is!! (thank you PhotoBooth!)

and boyfriend’s…..huh?! didn’t turn out as clear. it’s supposed to be an ugly crown on a dude’s head.
anyway, fun times!
