what a TREAT to get to photograph some of the best folks on the east side. jenny and nate are tying the knot this fall and i cannot wait. you know you’ve got a good couple on your hands when the weather causes you to reschedule, then unexpectedly (literally) rains on your parade anyway, and instead of letting it ruin your day you roll with it and make an umbrella a fun accessory. i love the spots they picked out around east nashville and down by the pedestrian bridge. check out these two lovebirds… jenny and nate, i’m so so so excited for you guys. i love all the places…

got to do a great engagement shoot with some dear friends, mary and aaron out at the stunning ellington agricultural center. with all the insane rain we’ve been having, we really just could not have asked for a prettier day with the most A++ sunshine. mary and aaron are trying the knot this fall and we got to take full advantage of the spring trees in bloom for these sweet photos. love that i get to work with such good people and good friends! check out these cuties… mary and aaron, i’m so excited with how these are looking! y’all were a blast to shoot with, can’t wait to show…

south carolina wedding — savannah + andrew
such an honor to get to shoot the wedding of my husband’s cousin’s daughter — savannah! john and i got to make the trip down to south carolina to photograph the marriage of savannah to her sweet husband, andrew. in 11 years of wedding photography, this was hands down the biggest wedding i’ve ever done, guest-wise, and was one of the most dramatically beautiful backyard receptions i’ve ever seen. it was absolutely phenomenal. huge shout out to cousin pamela for being a wedding magician, and for making that insanely gorgeous cake! this was such a fun day, so excited to share a preview. check it out… so many fun photos…
