baby elise!
let me tell you about a special little girl i just met named elise. i shot her mom and dad’s engagement and wedding photos 3 years ago (has it really been that long???) and now i get to photograph their first little darling girl. i ask, what is better in the world than cuddling a newborn baby? not a whole lot. sarah has been a nursery decorating machine while waiting for elise to arrive. i have so many cute photos to share just of the decor, but i am saving those for another post. for now, get a load of this beautiful face…. what newborn stays awake for your entire 2…

sarah + brian — the wedding
this wedding has been a long time in the making. i’m so pleased to finally get to post some photos from a wedding i’ve been waiting for for almost 2 years now. almost a year ago we got together to shoot brian and sarah’s engagement photos, and last week we met again to get them hitched! this wedding was a blast and we had such a good time shooting the entire day. the fauxtaux booth was so insanely popular we’ll have to do an entirely separate post just to showcase some of those photos :) check out the sweet couple here…. this was a day well worth the wait.…

ryan + tyne – edisto island, sc
i had an extreme privilege of being asked to shoot the wedding of my old roommate and dear friend tyne and her now-husband, ryan. i’ve known these two for many years and, at the risk of sounding cliché, they are actually absolutely made for each other. my husband and i were floored to be the only 2 non-family members at their very intimate wedding weekend in edisto island, sc so that we could photograph the wedding. it was such a sweet time and it was so hard to narrow the blog photo choices down to a reasonable amount. here are some of my favorites!
