i’ll admit i was a little nervous when ashlee approached me earlier this year about shooting her entirely outdoor wedding in the middle of july!!! last year i shot 2 weddings outside around the same time of year and both times it was over 100 degrees the entire day! this year was a different story. ashlee and jeff must’ve done something right because it was a perfectly gorgeous afternoon out on old hickory lake. perfect sunset, perfect breeze and really the perfect temperature as well.  here are some of my favorite photos from the day… ashlee and jeff, you guys and all of your family and guests were so welcoming…

forget match.com or eharmony! who needs all of that hassle when you can simply use your local starbucks to find your one true love?!  jeremy and aubrey met each other working at starbucks a few years back. i met my boyfriend john at starbucks. john and i met jeremy and aubrey because we both worked with them at starbucks. and it all came truly full circle when john and i got the chance to shoot jeremy and aubrey’s wedding a few weekends back.  (older brothers ceremonially handing over responsibility for protection of aubrey in the form of a metal bat) (best wedding kiss ever) …and they lived happily ever after…(at…
