    january weddingsss!!! although it was kinda crazy windy, it’s always nice to have a sunny and semi-warm day in the dead of winter. my boyfriend john — ahem, now fiance — lived with the groom, keith, when he first moved to nashville. both keith and bethany are super cool people with impeccable taste and style so i was extremely honored to be asked to shoot their wedding. keep in mind they planned this entire wedding all in about 2 months!!! my heroes…. the above shot of bethany’s hot blue shoes and the next one of bethany peeking into the sanctuary courtesy of my friend sarah mccormick who went to documentary…

    this was the etsy/do-it-yourself wedding of the century! between cari’s fabulous eye for the fabulous, jason’s mean, manly i-can-build-anything skills (oh, say…forging his own wedding ring, for instance…), and a breathtaking setting like southeast tennesse’s sewanee area…well, you can imagine. actually, don’t just imagine. check out the photos below…. handmade crepe flowers. hundreds — nay, thousands of them! these were handed out to the guests at the ceremony and i loved seeing how everyone kept theirs throughout the whole day — in their hair, in their lapel, etc. this gorgeous teal/blue/aqua bolero by bonzie — cari was the 2nd bride i’ve had to sport one of bonzie’s custom-made creations. something…

    mark and rebecca got married on what was supposed to be a soggy, cold, rainy halloween day. as it turned out, the day was totally gorgeous and i am so grateful. the wee chapel they got married in was just a single room with probably a 50 person capacity max. not sure how it would have worked had it rained!! thankfully, it didn’t an we were able to take advantage of the gorgeous scenery for these photos. take a look… i LOVE this shot jesse got right before the ceremony started. you can see rebecca on the right hiding from mark, and mark on the left hiding from rebecca. mark…
