all about bouquets — flower inspiration
today’s post is all about flowers!!! here is part two of my wedding inspiration blog series, designed to give you all some great ideas on bouquet arrangements. part one was all about the veils + hair , and this is all about the bouquets. i wanted to highlight all the different colors and styles that i could and i’m starting out with the white and light colored bouquets and working my way through the pinks, purples, reds, oranges and yellows….and all the way to the end with a few non-flower bouquet ideas. and away we go!
these last two photos highlight the charms these two brides attached to their bouquet to honor loved ones who had passed.
love the bride’s white bouquet (right) and the bridesmaid’s bouquet (left) spattered with blush and pink.
this gorgeous bouquet above done by the amazing katie at color my world. she’s one of my preferred vendors, y’all. so snatch her up quick!
this bouquet above is one of my favorites done by the wonderful folks at cedarwood wedding venue. so classy.
selah, the bride above, made this bouquet herself!
this gorgeous bouquet above by the folks at rebel hill florist in nashville. they also make amazing centerpieces — check them out!
love the criss-crossing long leaves on the bride’s bouquet (left) and the matching bridesmaid’s bouquet (right).
this yellow calla lily bouquet with the tropical leaves accents are so unique, perfect for the waterside wedding they had. i love how she used her grandmother’s necklace to accent the stems.
and now for something a little different….daisies. “don’t you think daisies are the friendliest flowers?” yes, meg ryan, i do think so. and, on the right, possibly one of my all time favorite bouquets…lavender!! so eclectic, so fragrant, makes you want to frolic in a field. the photo below shows her bridesmaid’s bouquets — wheat with lavender accents. i just loved that idea!
and last but certainly not least, the most clever bouquet for a junior bridesmaid or flower girl…candy! it’s cute, it’s fun, and most importantly it doubles as a bribe (“if you cooperate through the ceremony you can eat your bouquet at the end”). why haven’t we thought of this before??
and there you have it! i must make note that due to the fact i travel all over the country for weddings (and sometimes forget to write down the names of the different vendors i work with) i don’t have the names of all of the lovely makers of these wonderful flower creations. so brides, if you see your bouquet featured and want to give your florist a shout out, drop me a line and i will add their contact info stat.
i hope you found some inspiration through this post. and if you know any brides-to-be make sure to pass this post along :)
