let’s rewind it back to about 5 years ago when i first met katie and b. they found out about me through a mutual friend and hired me to take their engagement photos (how cute are they??) at the old rocketown building (which was torn down to accomodate what is now the ginormous music city center). it was right around the one year mark after i started my business and it was one of the very first engagement sessions i ever shot. fast forward to present day…they now have a beautiful one year old girl named ava. of course, i was thrilled when they contacted me to do her photos — i love when my clients become repeat offenders :) — and was so excited to have the chance to see them and work with them again, and to meet little ava. check out these lovely people looking gorgeous at bicentennial mall….

so, so happy to have had such a pretty day to shoot, and so thankful the summer weather has been mercifully mild. it was great to see you again, katie and b, and i so much enjoyed spending time with ava. she has such sweet and tender personality — i just loved her! enjoy the preview :)
