oooh maannn!!! mandee and wes are some seriously dear friends of mine and my husbands. the 4 of us and 2 other friends have done vacation together every year for 4 years now and it is something i look forward to every single year. these two are getting hitched this october (sooo stoked for them) but alas….they only had one day to choose from and i was already booked for another wedding so sadly i will not be shooting their wedding :(:(:(:( saddest frowny face ever. so instead of wedding photos we decided to do engagement photos on the isle of palms while on vacation. we did a super fast…

lots of things to love about laura and dirk’s wedding, the fact that they happen to be awesome people aside. laura and i used to work together years ago at starbucks and now both live on the east side of nashville so it’s such a pleasure to get to spend her wedding day with her! so, first off the amazing aVenue on 3rd ave in downtown nashville is always a treat. a historic building from the 1890’s-turned-event space….oh man. everything about that place has character. and the subtle diy style that laura chose for the decorations plus the accent lighting made this place pop! check it out to see what…
