SPRING!!!!! IT’S FINALLY HERE!!!! at least…for the time being :) yesterday afternoon i had my first engagement photo shoot of 2010 and i don’t think we could have picked a better day. the sun was out, the air was warm, and for the first time since i can’t remember when…i didn’t have a single shiver all day! ashley (currently living in chicago) and marcus (currently living in murfreesboro) got engaged a few weeks ago and called me up to shoot their engagement photos in downtown nashville. yes, please! we started the day at TSU to get a few shots at the place where they met :) so sweet. titans fans!…

Franklin Road Academy fundraiser 2010
last night i had the pleasure of shooting the fundraiser event “stars and guitars” for Franklin Road Academy. i shot the event last year via a connection i had from a trip with Sweet Sleep in ’08 and was so pleased to be asked back this year to shoot again. This year the event was held at the ever fab Loveless Barn — i LOVE this place (and their biscuits)!! this is my 2nd time shooting there and i’ve just this past week been talking with a bride about shooting her wedding there this year. yessssss…. hatch show print — you make everything magical. i LOVE the light in this…

wedding planning preview numero dos
things that are inspiring my own wedding planning: part deaux. thinking about doing something like this for the program. didn’t really want a program but 2 things made me realize i needed one: 1) the reception location is far from the ceremony location so directions in print are a must, and 2) acapella hymn singing will be involved so it might be nice if people had the words available. i’ll be working this weekend on the design for this project…. this is the dress i would wear if i had $6000. instead, i’m making my own, which i think will be way awesomer (and cheaper) in the end anyway. we…
