i have to take a minute to rave about jewelboxing dvd packaging. i came across these little beauties from heather garland’s blog (via twitter) and it was precisely the kind of thing i had been looking for for THE longest time. first of all, i love the shape, look and feel of these cases as opposed to regular dvd cases. they’re super modern with a sleek design and a more expensive feel, yet are extremely affordable. second of all they allow you to completely customize every aspect of the paper design — tray case (front and back), booklet (front, back, inside), and the dvd itself. i hired happyfish design to…

sarah + trey!!!
after many months of waiting…trey and sarah’s wedding finally came!! we got together back in the spring to do their engagement photos and had THE best time and got some really awesome shots. like i said about them then, these people are totally my kind of people. and their wedding was drop dead gorgeous. i had such a blast. we even busted out the photo booth for this one!! scroll down to check it all out…. stunning flowers by non other than brocade designs. the photo below shows how leanna caught me taking the photo above. nice…. such a beautiful reception and yet….several of the guests kept slipping away to…

johnny bird and motorcycle bars
enough said, right? bikini beach, the jolliest, awesome-est biker bar ever. johnny bird and his long time pal, big mike, had me out to shoot some live band shots for them while playing at one of the big biker events at bikini beach. what a lively and friendly bunch of bikers! boyfriend and i went out and were welcomed with open arms by all involved. despite the drizzle, it seriously was a super cool experience. we’re thinking about getting a group to go hang out there again sometime, the people were just so friendly!
