after many months of waiting…trey and sarah’s wedding finally came!! we got together back in the spring to do their engagement photos and had THE best time and got some really awesome shots. like i said about them then, these people are totally my kind of people. and their wedding was drop dead gorgeous. i had such a blast. we even busted out the photo booth for this one!! scroll down to check it all out…. stunning flowers by non other than brocade designs. the photo below shows how leanna caught me taking the photo above. nice…. such a beautiful reception and yet….several of the guests kept slipping away to…

johnny bird and motorcycle bars
enough said, right? bikini beach, the jolliest, awesome-est biker bar ever. johnny bird and his long time pal, big mike, had me out to shoot some live band shots for them while playing at one of the big biker events at bikini beach. what a lively and friendly bunch of bikers! boyfriend and i went out and were welcomed with open arms by all involved. despite the drizzle, it seriously was a super cool experience. we’re thinking about getting a group to go hang out there again sometime, the people were just so friendly! (stinkin’ awesome BBQ, too!) boyfriend snapped this awesome shot of me in the rear view mirror…

cari + jason engagement photos!
when a bride asks you to do that “dreamy 70’s album cover golden glow” thing for her engagement photos, you know it’s gonna be a good day. cari and jason are getting hitched this november and every little detail i’ve heard about the wedding so far tells me it’s gonna be a complete knock out. i absolutely can’t wait. it seems like every accessory is being hand made — if not by either cari or jason, then by someone lovely on etsy — or is a family heirloom being passed down from like 27 generations. so. freaking. cool. here are some of the photos we got on the most beautiful…
