hope and seth!!!!! this is a wedding i have been looking forward to for so long. hope and i were house mates years and years ago when we both worked for the same non profit org. i can’t say we were ever super close friends but we spent a lot of time together and around each other. so, needless to say, i was so stoked to be asked to shoot her wedding! sara + mark + a touch of the irish
this is the first entirely indoor wedding i’ve ever shot (no outdoor photos whatsoever!!) and i couldn’t be happier with the results. nashville’s downtown presbyterian church is absolutely unbelievable, ever nook and cranny is a photo. it’s the photographer’s disney land! sara and mark met and currently live in ireland (where mark is from). so you can imagine how eclectic the wedding was, not to mention some of the best music i’ve ever heard at both the ceremony and reception! oh, no big deal. just this awesome old movie projector hanging out at the church. sara and mark’s first trip together was to egypt so they decided on this fabulous…

sweet sleep Soiree — 2009!
last night my camera and i spent our evening at the 2nd annual fundraising soiree for my favorite orphan-loving organization —sweet sleep! this was my first time at the loveless barn and i totally dig that place (especially the biscuits — whoa nelly! so good). for those of you who don’t know, sweet sleep is the bed building organization that took me to uganda this summer and moldova twice last year. they had my photos from the last few trips blown up and hanging all over the place. it was such a cool thing to see how my photographs are helping pump people up for getting involved with what sweet…
