so i entered a contest….
for my final project while in documentary photography school i was sent to bulgaria on assignment to photograph the roma — or gypsy — people. my job was to find a story there, “a day in the life of” type thing, and to show that story through photographs. what i ended up finding was way better than i could have imagined — a gypsy wedding! mind you this is a 4 day event and these people know how to party like it’s 1999. i got there just in time to experience a week’s worth of the event from start to finish. vacation!!!
so nice to be at the beach with good buddies. didn’t know if it was going to happen at all this year and we kind of made the final decision and booked a place to stay at the very last minute — as in, the day before we left!!! found an amazing house, 2 blocks from the beach and a dock on the intercostal waterway in our backyard! amazing!!! thanks to jessica for the homemade leis!! hannah

allison and jesse…what can i say? gorgeous couple, even cooler as people. allison and i go way back so i was super honored when she called me up to shoot her wedding just outside of baltimore. i hadn’t spent time with her in years so it was great to be able to catch up. seriously one of the coolest people i have ever known. she’s such a unique and amazing person. obviously, jesse is equally as cool to have been able to rope a gal like her :) sneakin’ the hershey kisses…. :) SUCH a great wedding, allison and jesse! i am so glad to have been a part of…
