    everyone has opinions right? i need yours! photo by our labor of love and their fabulous smile booth! for about a year now i’ve toyed around with the idea of offering a “photo booth” type thing to add to my wedding packages. you know, set up a backdrop of sorts, or use a cool texture available at the venue, set up a few lights, a camera on a tripod, maybe a box with some props, and just let the guests come at their leisure and take all kinds of photos of themselves (silly, individually, with a large group, etc). recently, i saw our labor of love’s “smile booth” and i decided…

    in one of my more rare forms, this week i got to do some music promo shots with the ever-so-talented jeremy crady. it’s rare that i have the opportunity to shoot bands or musicians so i was super stoked. his music has been described by Today’s Country Magazine as “a dirt road styled Americana blend.”  nice.  he said he wanted some photos that were more natural and organic as opposed to the stiff “music industry” shots he had been previously subjected to. so we meandered around town, found an old car wash on nolensville rd, some graffiti downtown, and right when the light got delicious, a great set of train…
