um…..it’s a dangerous thing when a bride blatantly gives you free reign over creative license with her wedding photos. it’s also one of the most fun ways to shoot. ok, THE most fun way, hands down. in fact, these were laura’s exact words: “I am really excited about you getting super artsy and creative shooting my wedding also. I really mean it. Push the envelope. right now a portrait like this…. can help a kid like this…. the who… this july i have yet again an incredible opportunity to use my skills and passion for photography to help raise awareness that will impact change. many of you may remember the missions i documented last year while on trips with an organization called Sweet Sleep, a nashville-based non-profit dedicated to building beds for the poorest orphaned children around the world (see slideshows handicapped orphanage in orhei,and the orphans of drochia). now, my photos are gracing everything from the covers of their brochures to the banners on their website–even the walls of their offices!!– and are helping people…
