right now a portrait like this…. can help a kid like this…. the who… this july i have yet again an incredible opportunity to use my skills and passion for photography to help raise awareness that will impact change. many of you may remember the missions i documented last year while on trips with an organization called Sweet Sleep, a nashville-based non-profit dedicated to building beds for the poorest orphaned children around the world (see slideshows handicapped orphanage in orhei,and the orphans of drochia). now, my photos are gracing everything from the covers of their brochures to the banners on their website–even the walls of their offices!!– and are helping people…

FINALLY! slip covers by ChrysQ’s
i literally spent several hours on PDN’s virtual tradeshow today, mainly hitting up all the album vendors trying to find someone who sells presentation boxes or slip covers for albums and coffee table books. my only complaint with my lab is that they don’t offer them (yet). all i can say is…..boring, boring-er, and drooling-on-the-macbook-boring. and then…the clouds parted and a single beam of light shone down upon my face in the form of ChrysQ’s Luxe slipcovers. this is exactly what i would have imagined as perfect options for storing my albums and coffee table books….that is, if i had a good enough imagination… i love them so much, i…
