john and i had the distinct privilege of traveling back to chicago once again to photograph a wedding. and what a treat it was! erin and nick tied the knot at one of the most beautiful cathedrals i’ve ever been in, St. Mary of the Angels located in downtown chicago, and continued the celebration amidst close friends and family at olympia fields country club. it would be hard to think of a more gorgeous setting for a wedding. being the lucky gal that I am, this is the second wedding in this family i’ve had the pleasure to photograph. john and I also shot erin’s sister kirstin’s wedding several years…

eliza! what a little beauty, just look at that smile. it’s not every day you get to photograph a smiley newborn, but eliza pulled out all the stops for our shoot last weekend. it’s such a gift to get to capture these kinds of family photos when a new member is added.
