chicago wedding photographer — erin + nick

john and i had the distinct privilege of traveling back to chicago once again to photograph a wedding. and what a treat it was! erin and nick tied the knot at one of the most beautiful cathedrals i’ve ever been in, St. Mary of the Angels located in downtown chicago, and continued the celebration amidst close friends and family at olympia fields country club. it would be hard to think of a more gorgeous setting for a wedding. being the lucky gal that I am, this is the second wedding in this family i’ve had the pleasure to photograph. john and I also shot erin’s sister kirstin’s wedding several years ago, so being asked to come back again was such an honor. although some pandemic-related issues kept this wedding from being the full-blown extravaganza it was originally intended to be, I can truthfully say that despite a drastically smaller guest list and moving reception locations outdoors into a luxury tent, I can’t imagine this wedding being a single moment better than it was last saturday. it was perfection from top to bottom and i’m so glad we were able to be a part of it. check it out…
