candie, josh, and i had prepared for what we thought would be a chilly november engagement. as it turns out…i think it ended up being like 70 something degrees. it was a gorgeous fall day. josh used to live in the apartment above my husband’s years ago before we were married and that’s how we got to know candie and josh. they are getting hitched next year in st. louis but wanted to do a shoot in nashville. this pedestrian bridge in belle meade is where they got engaged back in may so, as per candie’s suggestion, we thought that would be a good place to start taking photos. their awesome pup, pretzel, even made an appearance in a few photos! i love dachshunds! check out some of the photos we got…

we had to cut it a little short due to this crazy storm that rolled in but i think we did well with the time that we had — and we managed to stay dry!
