Riverwood Mansion Wedding — Kyler + Marcus
officially the event of the century — kyler + marcus are finally hitched! suffice to say, COVID-19 has cause no small insanity for literally everyone on the planet — but perhaps no engaged couple more than kyler and marcus, who had to reschedule (and reschedule, and reschedule) their wedding so many times I believe most of us have lost count! but thank the lord, they finally made it, and it was completely perfect and gorgeous in every way. totally worth the wait! i’m so happy to have been a part of this glorious wedding. so, without further ado, let’s get to the photos… congratulations you two!!! so happy for you…

what a day! i had the immense pleasure of photographing the wedding of a dear friend and long time kickball teammate, lauren. her original plans for her wedding to dylan were postponed due to a little pandemic we have going on around here, so when august rolled around and things still weren’t quite back to normal they decided they couldn’t bear to wait through another postponement (i wouldn’t either!!). so even though plans were a bit augmented from the original wedding vision, they pulled off an absolutely beautiful, perfectly perfect day with their families and wedding party at fat bottom brewery, a totally gorgeous venue. i honestly can’t imagine it…

john and i had the distinct privilege of traveling back to chicago once again to photograph a wedding. and what a treat it was! erin and nick tied the knot at one of the most beautiful cathedrals i’ve ever been in, St. Mary of the Angels located in downtown chicago, and continued the celebration amidst close friends and family at olympia fields country club. it would be hard to think of a more gorgeous setting for a wedding. being the lucky gal that I am, this is the second wedding in this family i’ve had the pleasure to photograph. john and I also shot erin’s sister kirstin’s wedding several years…
