eric + heidi get hitched in maine!

maaaaiiiinnneee!!! wow! so….eric, the groom, and my husband have known each other for many years so we were thrilled when we got the call that he had gotten engaged to a wonderful girl named heidi that he met in new york city. and needless to say, i was even more thrilled when they asked me to be the photographer for their lovely wedding in MAINE!

it was my first trip to new england and i’m totally sold! we decided to stay in the area a few extra days and make a vacation out of the trip (photos of that to come later). i employed the ol’ husband as my second photographer who, incidentally, took the photo above of the lobster (pronounced lobstah) holding the rings. he’s so amazing :)

eric’s mom and heidi’s step mom joined their bouquets to make one, a new take on the unity candle concept which i really like.

heidi’s dad’s barbershop quartet performing “the lord’s prayer” at the wedding. agh!! sooooo good!

eric is taming the veil that kept getting blown around by the wind.

gotta throw in that ode to south carolina :)

heidi and eric….what can i say? john and i just couldn’t be happier for you both. we loved getting to spend some time with you, particularly on what was such a special and perfectly beautiful day. thanks for trusting me with the photos, can’t wait to show you the rest. congratulations!!!!!! enjoy your honeymoon in charleston! love that place :)
