introducing….the NotWedding!

i am privileged and honored to announce that i will be working with nashville’s hippest, baddest fake-wedding bridal show this june — the NotWedding.

i’ll be working with a handful of nashville’s best and brightest wedding vendors to bring to you a big, huge, gorgeous fake-wedding, so that bride’s and their honeys can come out and experience for themselves what it’s like to work with us on the big day. there will be i-do’s, food, drinks, cakes, dancing, awesome dresses, flowers….everything you can think of — plus some.

i have long avoided the bridal show scene because….let’s be honest. as helpful as they can be it sometimes feels like a hurricane of faces, an overload of information, and a general overwhelming experience for brides-to-be and vendors alike. so, i can’t tell you how excited i am to be on board with the NotWedding. this is something different. this is something fun. this is an experience you get to see, feel, taste, touch and breathe in. this ISN’T a long, exhausting day on your feet under florescent lights with nothing to show for it but a bag overflowing with tacky brochures & business cards, a head reeling with faces, names and slogans already blurring together in your memory, and feet full of blisters.

well, actually…you may get blisters from attending the NotWedding, too. but it’ll only be because you got carried away and danced your face off to the awesome dj’s and live music talent that will be featured.
