jenna and steve’s family portraits

it was a cold winter’s day but we braved the chill anyway. jenna and steve were definitely worth the numb extremities, and at least the sun was shining! i was so incredibly privileged to be the one to take these family portraits for them. steve is in the military and is being deployed on wednesday to serve one year in afghanistan and these photos are an early christmas gift to his wife since he won’t be here to celebrate on actual christmas day.

i don’t know how you soldiers do it! even more so i don’t know how military wives do it!! i just can’t imagine. and as i told them both last friday there is no limit to the respect i have for families who sacrifice time away from their loved ones to serve our country.
