meet the lovely jessica and jason! we quite literally had a whirlwind of a wedding weekend — tornados made a wreck of the little town of clinton, mississippi on friday but thankfully spared the ceremony site by mere blocks! it was insaaanee (and made a for one very terrible, awful, no good, very bad plane ride into town for me….i managed to not puke or lose my life in spite of the worst turbulence i’ve ever experienced….but just barely).
though friday was a crazy adventure, saturday was absolutely perfect and the wedding went off without a hitch. see for yourself :)

perhaps you’ll remember bethany’s pretty face from her wedding that i shot last year. she introduced me to jessica and was not only a bridesmaid in this wedding but played a mean fiddle for the ceremony as well. phenomenal!
this is probably my all time favorite “guest book” idea. how unbelievably cute!!! all the guests made their thumb prints and signatures the leaves on the tree. i wish i had thought of this for my wedding!

bboh my gosh oh my gosh!!!! these pictures are fantastic! of course it helps that Jess and Jason are A-dorable and look like they belong on top of a wedding cake, but seriously. Pictures. Are. Amazing.
