mark + lisa!!

what a beautiful day! i had the very honored privilege of shooting the wedding of some of boyfriend’s and my dearest friends, mark and lisa! (is that proper grammar?? i’m always paranoid about that…)

ah…i can remember back when mark used to meet up with us after being at school all day and update us on “hot girl from class.” and now look at them! all grows up and married. it has been so great to watch this entire relationship evolve from the beginning, and even cooler getting to know lisa and seeing how her presence in mark’s life has helped fashion him into who he is clearly meant to be. so amazing!
i took ridiculous amounts of photos so it was really tough narrowing it down to a bloggable decency. but here is what i came up with so far….
(SIDE NOTE: no matter what i try, for whatever reason the color/contrast in the photos is kinda flat after uploading them and i can’t figure out exactly why….probably no one else would notice but it’s bothering me and i had to say something….)

mark’s mom’s face when she saw lisa in her dress for the first time. priceless!

the old ball and chain face….

but how he really felt about getting married. woo hoo!

renee caught this awesome shot of me and jesse shooting mark’s parents. unreal!!

lisa’s dad, big frank, is a jazz sax player and wrote a song especially for their wedding day…and let me tell you, it was UNBELIEVABLE!

thanks boyfriend, jesse and his lovely wife, renee, for shooting with me! between the 4 of us we hit the nail on the head, i believe :)
mark and lisa, thanks for giving me the chance to immortalize this gorgeous day in the form of a few (hundred) photographs. view them all right here!

and just for kicks and giggles, a photo of me and boyfriend–i caught the bouquet and he graciously had the garter handed to him….it’s all a big conspiracy to see us married off since we’re kinda the last couple standing in our little group of friends ;)
