well….sort of DIY….i passed my camera around a bit on my wedding day, hoping some folks would capture some of the getting ready madness….thanks to my dear friend and bridesman jesse, these are some of the photos i ended up with.

can’t get the darn shoes buckled…
then at the ceremony i had trick up my sleeve. i had my mom holding my camera for me and then when john’s dad (our minister) was saying the closing prayer i grabbed the camera from mom so that when he was done praying, before we walked back down the isle, i could take a few shots of the ceremony for myself — this is one of the only ones i got, but it’s still fun!

we took our self-caught fish lasagna to the beach to watch the sunset. so beautiful…..i want to go back there now instead of dealing with flooded basement issues :(

p.s. it’s about to be full-blown crazy shooting season again after several months off. can’t WAIT to shoot weddings again, i feel like it’s been forever! having the time off was good but now i’m getting antsy to get back out there again. yesssss….
