i kind of love dogs way too much, so when my friend, celia, approached me about shooting nashville humane association’s annual fundraiser, “Unleashed!” i couldn’t resist! check out this dog below. her name is semper fi and this is her best smile….

if you are a pet owner, do yourself a favor and check out baxter & bailey — luxury living for the discriminating mutt. great tag line, great pet products and fashion. baxter and bailey are the two beagles pictured here with their owners. such sweet pups!

kelley pickler was the host of the evening and emcee’d the doggie fashion show. the photo on the left here shows kelley with a iraq war veteran and his dog that served along side him.

so many celebrities turned up to support the humane association and to help adoptable dogs strut their stuff on the runway. it was just about the cutest thing i’ve ever seen, everyone had a blast, several dogs got adopted and lots of money was raised through donations, silent and live auctions, and ticket sales. i’ve never been in a room with over 100 dogs before and, i have to say….i kind of loved it!
