in keeping with the theme of my last post….first comes love (see above left engagement photo, circa 2011), then comes marriage, then comes a baby named burton (above right)! john and i had such an amazing week last week in florida with two of our best couple friends, mandee and wes being one of the couples. the 6 of us have been taking vacation together ever year for the last 6 years. since we were unable to be at their wedding back in october of 2011, we wanted to do engagement photos that year on vacation. and this year, two years later, they introduced their sweet little boy, burton, to our vacation ritual. we thought it only fitting to update the family photo to include this little sweetie. check him out!

as i have often said, i love watching families grow over the years and it never gets old being invited back again and again to capture those moments. and who doesn’t love beach photos?! i know it’s like a drug for this land-locked girl.
