first comes love, then comes marriage (above left, circa 2008), and then comes samuel (pictured atop justin’s head, above right)! i had the happiest honor of photographing a mini session with these hotties last week in florida. these people are like family to my husband john and me. we were 2 of the small handful of people present at their intimate courthouse wedding 5 years ago and now we get samuel as an awesome bonus to our happy friendship. samuel just turned 3 a few weeks ago and, as you can see below, he’s quite proud of it :)

just wanted to share a few images from our shoot. samuel is obsessed with sports and so i thought it most fitting to let him include some of his favorite sports-items in the shoot. doesn’t he need to be in a ralph lauren catalogue or something??
love that kid. love those people. thankful for pretty florida days…
