alathea in the studio!
mandee and cristi of the band Alathea are dear, dear friends (and also neighbors!) of mine. they’re busy recording their new album and asked me to come participate in some photo documentation of the project. what i’m hearing so far sounds amazing — maybe my favorite of their stuff yet!
i’ve had many opportunities to be in lots of recording studios in my 20+ years of being here in nashville but i’m not sure that i’ve ever experienced a recording environment as relaxed as this one. sooo cool and so Alathea.
these musicians are redonkulous. so so so talented.

cristi’s husband, justin (my fiance’s bff) stopped in to check on the progress and see the girls.
absolutely can’t wait to hear the finished product! thanks ladies for having me! now that we’re in the same neighborhood i really can NOT wait for porch sitting weather :)
