A renaissance Fabio horseback inspired engagement
this is by far one of my most favorite and fun photo shoots i’ve ever done! my dear old friend jonathan called me a few weeks ago and told me he was going to propose to his girlfriend elaina [the ever-talented gal behind the Beauty Sensei blog] and asked if i would be available to come capture the moment. as he went on to explain the elaborate plan, in typical jonathan fashion, things got progressively weirder (and, might i add, more awesome) with every detail: a white linen “fabio” suit, copious amounts of gold chains, a horse named jasper, and a princess bride-inspired red velvet renaissance dress. oh, and of course…

east nashville photographer — meet anders
meet baby anders! he made his world debut just a few weeks ago and obviously his big brother ashton is extremely proud! he did such a good job holding anders and making sure he was ok during our shoot. loved getting to photograph this sweet family at their beautiful home just down the road from me in east nashville :) these two were cracking me up with their facial expressions! so animated. thanks karen and andy for having me into your beautiful home to meet your sweet boys! always good to work with fellow east nashvillians :) hannah

franklin photographer — henry is one!
so glad to get out in the sunshine with a cutie like henry. he just turned one and we celebrated by taking some lovely family photos in the westhaven neighborhood where the daffodils are out in full force. cute kids and a gorgeous day! like i always say…can’t really go wrong with that! check out these folks… thanks for coming out again to get some family photos, katie! it was great seeing y’all again. henry’s getting so big, i’m thrilled to be able to capture these sweet moments. hannah
