baby chickens!
i don’t eat eggs very often. so the other day when i went to crack what looked like an abnormally large and oblong egg i was quite thrilled/sickened/at a loss to find 2 perfectly formed yokes inside! twins!! twin baby chickens. my first thought was, “cooool!” my second….aw, i’m a terrible person because i’m about to eat this. but once i got past that feeling, went to crack yet another abnormally large egg and there were 2 yokes in that one too! i must have gotten the eggs of freak mutant chicken…here’s the first set (couldn’t help but snap a photo…). even though i ended up eating both sets of…

what a beautiful day! i had the very honored privilege of shooting the wedding of some of boyfriend’s and my dearest friends, mark and lisa! (is that proper grammar?? i’m always paranoid about that…) ah…i can remember back when mark used to meet up with us after being at school all day and update us on “hot girl from class.” and now look at them! all grows up and married. it has been so great to watch this entire relationship evolve from the beginning, and even cooler getting to know lisa and seeing how her presence in mark’s life has helped fashion him into who he is clearly meant to…

sarah + trey’s engagement photos!
ho. ly. cow. i absolutely adore this couple and am beyond excited about the photos that we got this afternoon at both cheekwood and around downtown nashville. sarah and trey are just about the most laid back, easy to chat with folks around. i had a blast getting to know them a little better while we ran all over town like the paparazzi after britney. even their doggie, otto, made an appearance! i am definitely super stoked about shooting their wedding this october. they’re reception will be at the 3rd aVenue south loft. i’ve never shot there and i can’t wait, so much texture and character to that building. anyway, without…
