baby hannah and 80’s weddings
this is a photo of me when i was a wee tike. yay! for 80’s flower girl dresses! i was in 2 weddings as a child and both dresses were this forbidden forrest green. maybe the color wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t on an 80’s dress? :::sigh::: i know fashions come and fashions go but, oh dear……i don’t want to look back on my own wedding photos 20 or 30 years from now and shudder! i guess when i get married i’ll just have to look extra awesome…or extra plain. that would probably do the trick just as well. hannahelaine

sam + christine — the wedding!
here is a wedding i’ve had in the books for what seems like ages and have been so excited about. saturday was the big day for sam and chris, whose engagement photos i took last december. i remember meeting them for coffee and talking over some details about the wedding and hearing the story about how sam knew i was “the one” he wanted to shoot the wedding because i have Sigur Ros as the music for my website :) my plan of attracting people with good taste in music worked! we had an absolutely gorgeous, hitch-free day. after running thru the photos and picking out a few of my initial…

my dear friend, David Smith (BOD), was in town from washington state this past week interviewing for a job (please take it, please take it, please take it). he is getting together a portfolio to start doing some commercial modeling work. so we went over to east nashville and had a little photo shoot. here are some of the first few shots i have looked at and liked. i haven’t even looked through the back half of the shoot! he’s a hot dude…aaaaand….ladies, he’s single!
